In math we did a math maze that we had to add up to 100 by using numbers in a maze. We had to use a lot of thinking to solve the maze.
In science we reviewed our science test.
In social we researched questions about Alberta and the fur trade.
In language arts we gave feedback on our cat/rat perspective writing. We also wrote in a four frame about the most emotionally moment in our First Nation's characters' life.
In health we watched a class dojo which talked about "the dip". The "dip" is when you try to do something, but get frustrated and want to give up. We started to learn about strategies to get through the dip.
In art we made envelopes for Valentine's cards.
Our spelling pattern this week will be:
In vowel pairs, two vowels come together to make one long vowel sound. The second vowel is silent.
In vowel diagraphs, 2 vowels come together to make a vowel sound that can be long or short.
